Last updated: October 20, 2026. Fair Repair Check is an early beta that checks car repair quotes. We collect as little as we can.

What we collect

Your email, so we can send your report or tell you when the app launches.
The quote photos or PDFs you upload, plus the optional car and ZIP code you type. Quotes can contain names, phone numbers or a VIN; you may cover them before uploading.
Anonymous page events: which version of the page you saw, whether you clicked a button, and the ad source (for example "google"). These are tied to a random ID kept in your browser tab only. We do not use cookies, we do not store your IP address, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this page.

How we use it

Only to write your report, to measure whether people want this product, and to email you about the launch. We use AI tools to help read your quote and draft your report; your files are not used for advertising. We never sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with repair shops or insurers.

How long we keep it

Uploaded quote files are deleted within 30 days after your report is sent. Your email stays on the launch list until you unsubscribe. Anonymous page events are deleted when the beta test ends.

Where it is stored

Files and form data are stored in private cloud storage (Vercel Blob, United States) that is not publicly accessible.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete your data, reply to any email we send you and write "delete my data". We will act within 7 days. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information; we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Not an appraisal

Reports are informational price comparisons. They are not an appraisal, vehicle inspection, mechanical diagnosis or insurance estimate.
